Fractal is about the repetition of patterns, and about how each repetition of the smallest element gives rise to new universes. It is a principle found throughout nature: forms that repeat systematically, at every scale, building complexity out of the minimal. Each module is minimal on its own and expansive when repeated; gathered into dense clusters, the fragments build a rhythm that is never mechanical. Color works as an allusion to vibration, to energy and to states: each tone behaves like a frequency, a pulse that changes the intensity of the whole. What emerges is not an illusion of movement but the feeling of it, held between order and dispersion. There is always a relationship with music, with rhythm and frequency; the title of Espectral I, one of the key works of the series, points to it.
